Selcouth is a game by small indie studio Hijinx! Atelier, with NO funding whatsoever, that is still in the concepts stage. The game director, Jagger Spinster / Spiiney / his real name, which is limited knowledge amongst staff, has been mixing this idea around in his skull since fifth grade.
The premise so far is four kids - Alva, Chester, Genevieve and Marshall in early 70's Fereius (fictional country with unique culture) run away from their town for a few reasons, hiding in a forest alone. They hike for a few days (pre-game), and find abandoned homes. They live in there, but soon begin to be hunted by shapeshifting monsters. The monsters are a bit blurry right now, but they manage to get inside the house and stalk the kids everywhere / mimic them extremely well. Basically, slenderman if you were an outcast child and he could make your face his face, and there are MULTIPLE of him
